A Tribute to a Great Son of Ala Igbo

You stand tall as a noble son of Ala Igbo, a worthy ambassador who, though in the Diaspora, refuses to drop the staff of his heritage. While many forget their roots in foreign lands, you have chosen to carry Igbo culture with pride, dignity, and responsibility. This alone marks you as a custodian of identity, a bridge between yesterday and tomorrow.
May the gods of the land, the ancestors who walked this soil before us, and the spirit of Ala Igbo continually guide your steps, bless the works of your hands, protect your family, and enlarge your influence wherever your name is mentioned.

Permit me to humbly introduce myself. I am Dr. Mrs. Gloria Ngozi Ugbor, a Lecturer at the Centre for Igbo Studies, University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), and of the Department of Arts Education, UNN. I am a passionate cultural advocate and the founder of Igbo Ezuo: Igbo Renaissance Online Academy and the Pan-Africa Roots and Routes Programme.
The aim of these initiatives is simple but urgent: to revive, preserve, teach, and globalize Igbo language, culture, values, worldview, and identity, especially for our children in the Diaspora and future generations, using education, digital platforms, cultural re-orientation, and community-based engagement.

Because you are a recognized cultural figure and torchbearer, I wish to respectfully express my readiness to render my professional and cultural services to your base, whether to individuals, families, schools, cultural organizations, youth groups, or community institutions under your influence. This is a service of legacy, not convenience; a call to ensure that Igbo identity does not fade but flourishes.
May history remember you kindly, and may Ala Igbo always find pride in your name.

I look forward to walking this cultural path together, in service to our people and generations yet unborn.

Nnoo, Daalụ, Jisie Ike.
